Denis, does this fugure mean your team had no workload for end-customer projects that time? How big is your team (approx. ) ? 3.500 hours sonds like a huge project in Axa. It's funny CIAS invests so big efforts into internal development on 'old' 3.0 platform announcing that "Columbus IT has big experience in Axapta 4.0 and access to the application since 2005" or something like that.

I would like to use this opportunity to give some additional clarifications:
1. ODC is not working with end-customers at all. Our customers are affiliates of CIT, i.e. offices in different countries. And they sell our services to their end-customers.

2. Our team is not so big But all our developers are really experienced guys.

3. I've meant that the previous system we transferred to 4.0 was developed during several years (the development was started on 2.5 and then continued on 3.0) and there were paid a lot of hours for the development. I suppose you should understand that transferring of application, which was developed for so long time is taking a lot of efforts. But we did it and it was done appropriately.

Yes, I do understand. But my experience tells me it's better to throw 2.5 code away and start from the scratch. I can imagine how many time your team spent fighting with old-style coding and appoaches .

In addition to the vacancies of Developers and Senior Developers at ODC we’ve got a new vacancy – AX Developer for support of international internal application on AX 4.0 + MOSS 2007.

I would like to emphasize that this job can give you a really international experience of working with one of the biggest AX 4.0 installations over the world.

Compensation for this job will be appropriate to the level of candidate, but it should be definitely higher than the average for the market.

The only strict requirement is fluent English, as this job assumes fast involving of developer in the project with our European colleagues.

Location: Moscow
Company: ODC Columbus IT A/S

Job description: 150 employees in 7 companies are now running on our new Dynamics AX 4.0 application (France, The Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Norway-Bergen, Norway-Oslo and United Kingdom). After Roll out in the whole Group we are more than 1000 users in 20 countries and will then be among some of the largest AX 4.0 installations in the world.

To complete this project, we need new AX developer to cover those tasks.
• Development in AX 4.0
• Maintaining all running applications (due to different GLS layers we will have 2-3 running applications)
• Development of new web applications (enterprise portal / Sharepoint)

Qualifications and abilities:
• At least 2 years experience with Axapta programming
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge with web applications / Sharepoint will be an advantage
• Flexible regarding working time (from time to time we need to upgrade applications outside normal working hours - different time zones)
• Expect some travelling

Ce serait la grande id?e si nous avons besoin "d'autres speakers de langues", mais nous cherchons des d?veloppeurs parlants anglais. D'autres langues ne sont pas si demand?es, malheureusement.

I would like to raise this topic and to clarify that we're looking not for 1-2 developers for open positions - but having really great extension plans for the rest of year and need 10 or so new developers.
This means that you have really good opportunity to try yourself and at least pass the interview and then - work on huge number of international projects in DAX. MSCRM, MOSS...

Also we've already commenced recruitment at Kiev and got some success in that - so if you don't like Moscow you can apply to Kiev vacancy :-)
