We produce potash fertilisers to ensure that people all over the world are provided with food, as well as to support the development of our communities, the welfare of employees, and the growth of the Company through the efficient and responsible development of unique potash deposits.

Our subsidiary Food Security Solutions, an international fertilizers trading company, is looking for a skilled remote X++ Developer with expertise in Dynamics AX 2009 and/or Dynamics AX 2012 for a temporary position lasting 6+ months. The successful candidate will be responsible for customizing, developing, and maintaining solutions within the Dynamics AX framework to meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop customizations, enhancements, and integrations in X++ within the Dynamics AX environment;
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Customize forms, reports, workflows, and other components in Dynamics AX to support business processes;
• Participate in system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of developed solutions;
• Document technical specifications, customizations, and integrations for knowledge transfer and future reference;
• Adhere to development best practices, coding standards, and version control procedures;
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and other developers.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in X++ programming language with demonstrated experience in Dynamics AX development;
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics AX 2009 and/or Dynamics AX 2012, including customization, configuration, and development;
• Strong understanding of Dynamics AX architecture, database structure, and integration points;
• Experience in data migration from legacy systems to Dynamics AX and integration with other systems;
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and design appropriate solutions;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing time effectively to meet project deadlines;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
• Optional: Certification in Dynamics AX development (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate).
