Hi all,
if you need more information if you getting an error during synchronization enable the Trace log.
- Browse to %INSTALLDIRCONNECTOR%
- Edit Microsoft.Dynamics.Integration.Service.exe.config
- Edit <add name="Microsoft.Dynamics.Integration.TraceLog" value="0" /> and change it to 4 (<!-- 0-off, 1-error, 2-warn, 3-info, 4-verbose –>)
- Restart the NAV Connector (shouldn’t be – my experience is “do it”…
- Browse to %ALLUSERSPROFILE%Application DataMicrosoft DynamicsMicrosoft Dynamics Adapter Logs
Example: C
ocuments and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataMicrosoft DynamicsMicrosoft
Dynamics AdapterLogs
or
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%Microsoft DynamicsMicrosoft Dynamics AdapterLogs
Example: C:ProgramDataMicrosoft DynamicsMicrosoft Dynamics Adapter
- Go to the bottom of the file
- Start Find by Ctrl + F – Options “Up”- Term: Error
Now you can see the last error which occurs. Not always this is the right one you are looking for – so just go forward by using the Find feature.
The trace log usually give you more detail information about the exception.
Note: Also take a look into the event viewer. There you will find error information too.
Regards,
Rene
