I’ve had a few questions that relate to how to use external networking on the demo VMs. In the in the notes about the setup of the VMs it is recommended that you have the second network card disabled to help start up time.
However if you need to get out on the internet of use an external network for example :
- Get out to a public web site.
- Activate Office is office thinks the machine has changed, usually a result of moving to different virtualization technology like Win7 VPC7 or Hyper-V.
- Use Office Communicator to connect to your internal OCS infrastructure.
- Remote Desktop (RDP) e.g. use Terminal services to connect into the VM.
